VANITA MAE AGEE, age 55, of Kendallville, died on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  Vanita was born in Auburn, Indiana on October 12, 1960 to Robert Gene DeLong and Janice Earlene (Mickelson) DeLong.  She graduated from East Noble High School in 1978 and attended Ball State University in Muncie.  Vanita was employed with Courier in Kendallville for the past 10 years.  She loved the Indianapolis Colts and was an avid Colts fan.  She enjoyed collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia and loved riding horses.  Vanita also loved being with her family and spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include: 
Son, James and Monica Agee,II of Kendallville.
Son, Daniel and Kelly Agee of Kendallville.
Son, Derek Agee and Amanda Lohrey of LaGrange.
11 grandchildren: Dustin Brown, Heaven Agee, Andy Agee, Nathan Yoder, Tristan Kammerer, Grace Denison, Bailey Landez, Alivya McAllister, Pace Agee, Sydney Arnold, and Jaxson Agee. 
1 great granddaughter, Aurora Alleshouse.
Father, Robert DeLong of Big Turkey Lake near LaGrange.
Sister, Cynthia DeLong of LaGrange.
Brother, Charles DeLong of LaGrange.
Sister, Ann and Matt Ellis of Auburn. 
Five nieces and nephews: Mackenzie Bollinger, Martha Harding, Lydia Harding, Khoven Ellis, and Klaire Ellis.  
Great niece, Hannah Brillhart.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Janice in February of 2015.

Visitation will be Friday from 3-9:00 pm at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville.
Funeral services will be Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 10:00 am at Hite Funeral Home.
Officiating the funeral service will be Rev. Bret Frymier.
Burial will be at Lake View Cemetery in Kendallville.
Memorials are to the donor's choice.
Casketbearers will be James Agee II, Daniel Agee, Derek Agee, Mackenzie Bollinger, Khoven Ellis, Lydia Harding, Matt Ellis, and Lynn Lash.
