Mrs. Rehwinkel and family:  Al and Margaret are memories from my childhood - Al, the ever-smiling, gentle giant who helped my grandmother (Trudy Outlaw) and the 3 "Swartz boys" in immeasurable ways: car repair, spiritual guidence, a hay-baling job once in awhile - life lessons given by example.  Al, showed us how humility built character and strength.  I last saw you and Al at the cemetary about 10 years ago - I was visiting from Minnesota alone, at my parents' graves - lost in thought, when I heard you across the car path, placing flowers in honor of Bud... you were the perfect couple, the perfect parents, and the perfect inspiration.  Thank you for coming into our lives.  Bless you all and Godspeed Vickie, Kay and Mark.  - with deepest sympathy, Krag Swartz (the middle one).

Growing up, I remember Al as the big, gentle man with large grease incrusted hands and smiling eyes. Good memories.  Blessings to all.

Margaret,
I amso sorry to hear of Al's passing.  You both have meant a lot to me over the years.  You always remembered my name and said hello when you saw me.  I appreciated your visits to mom and dad.  Knowing where they all are right now makes me happy.  They are probably getting a card game going.  Best wishes to you and your family.
