Barbara Ann (Martin) Booher

BARBARA ANN BOOHER, age 87, of LaGrange died on Monday, January 25, 2016 at LifeCare Center, LaGrange.  Mrs. Booher was born in Winchester, Indiana on December 8, 1928 to the late Delbert and Margaret (Mann) Martin.  She married Russell Martin Booher and he preceded her in death in October of 1990.  Barbara was past employed as a secretary at Smith Alsop Paint in Richmond, Indiana.  Her last job was in the kitchen at Pokageon State Park where she was in charge of the salad bar 15 years.  She was a member of the Pleasant View Church of Christ in Angola and she loved going on family vacations in Canada.

Survivors include: 
Son, Michael D. Booher of Angola, Indiana.
Son, Richard and Linda Booher of LaGrange.
6 grandchildren: Michelle and Len Walter of South Milford; Martin and Tiffany Booher of South Milford; Shannon Gaul of Eugene, Oregon; Jade and Trish Gaul of South Milford; Amberly and Darryl Culley of Benica, California; and Corey Gaul of LaGrange.  13 great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters and a one brother. 

Visitation and funeral services will be Thursday, January 28, 2016 at the Spartanburg Christian Church, 6714 E. 700 S., Lynn, Indiana.  Visitation will be from 11:00am-12:00pm with the funeral service beginning at 12:00 noon.  Officiating the funeral service will be Pastor Brian Richmond.

Burial will be at Spartanburg Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to Johnson University, Knoxville, Tennessee.
