CHRISTINA LEE HANDSHOE, age 51, of Kendallville, died on Sunday, February 7, 2016 at Morgantown Health Care Inn, Morgantown, Indiana.  Ms. Handshoe was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on June 4, 1964 to Sara E. (Hazelton) Barton.  She attended Grace Christian Church in Kendallville and Broadway Christian Church in Fort Wayne and going to church, attending Bible study, making crafts, scrapbooking, and listening to music.  Most of all she loved her Lord and Savior and her family.

Survivors include: 
Daughter, Christiana Marie Hollis of Largo, Florida.
Son, Terry Wayne Mahlor of Indianapolis.
Daughter, Carrie Ann Yancey of St. Petersberg, Florida.
Six grandchildren.
Stepfather, Ira J. Barton of Shawsville, Virginia.
Sister, Nanetta (Collins) Tucker of South Milford.
Sister, Sheila (Collins) Hicks of Columbia City.
Brother, Steven Barton of Shawsville, Virginia.
Many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by mother, Sara E. Barton, who died in 2001; brother, Jeffery Hazelton, who died in 1975; and her grandparents, Richard and Florence (Knott) Hazelton.

Funeral services will be Thursday, February 11, 2016 at 6:00 pm at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville with Pastor Oley Smith officiating.  Visitation will take place from 4:00-6:00 pm.
