Dear Smith Family: It breaks our hearts when death separates us from the ones we love no matter how young or old they happen to be. We are reminded in the Bible that God sees our pain and sorrow and has promised that soon death will be no more.(Revelation 21:4) He will heal our broken hearts by resurrecting our dear loved ones to life again.(John 5:28,29) I hope in the days ahead as you reflect on the life of David, and the wonderful memories left behind, that you will find much comfort in God's promises to us for the near future. Dave~24 years ago, I met you at JR. Your contagious grin always made me feel welcome and like I could hang in, even when I was sure I couldn't. You were a wonderful friend then and though I have not seen you for at least 17 years, I can still remember your easy smile, your genuine laugh and your thoughtful ways. You were one in a million.
