Dear Deedra and Doug,
I recently read of Mrs. Putt's passing. I still subscribe to the Kendallville News-Sun even though I left Indiana nearly 40 years ago. Reading about your mom and all her family brought back many memories. I know you will cherish all yours and will celebrate a wonderful woman. She will be missed.

I worked with your Mom at the Old McCray for many yrs.Wonderful nurse and a great teacher for many of us younger .She was a blessing to all of us..You never heard a bad word come from her .May God be with you now and always

I have no doubt that God will remember her and keep her memory safe. He will surely be glad to bring her back to life in a perfect world when suffering will be no more and we will all welcome back our loved ones that are asleep in death. (Revelation 21:4 & John 5:28, 29) May our loving Father bring your family the peace and comfort only He can provide.

I've never met your family but immediately recognized Mrs. Putt's name this morning in the Fort Wayne Journal Gazette. My mother, Mildred Hartman, spoke of Evelyn often. The two of them worked together at McCray hospital. I also enjoyed the picture of Mrs. Putt in her LHSN uniform, since I also graduated from there. My condolences.
