Mary was a wonderful person. She was a terrific teacher and cared for each of her students. She had both of our daughters, Jennifer and Millie in school. I also worked with Mary when I use to sub at College Corner before I went back to teaching full time. Mary also came home with the girls for lunch. Great memories of Mary. She will certainly will be rewarded in heaven. Will be thinking of you. Lynn and Paul

I was a student at College Corner Elementary School in Anderson. I still remember the kindness to every child that Mrs. Halsey shared each and every day. The world certainly needs more educators with the passion that she had. To her family and friends, please accept my deepest gratitude for sharing her with us as students and my condolences on her passing. Mrs. Halsey touched many lives at that old school and I am certainly thankful for her.

Cindy & Mark,
So sad to learn of your Mother's passing. She was such a great lady! I had the privilege of working with her at College Corner School from 1969 until her retirement. Lots of good times and happy memories from those days. Thoughts and prayers sent your way at this difficult time.

Mary was my 4th grade teacher at College Corner 1966-1967. Wonderful lady and great teacher. I enjoyed her class. God bless each of you who remember her.

Your Mother, Mrs. Halsey taught me in 4th grade at College Corner grade school in Anderson. As I look at her picture I can still see her standing in front of us, reading to us and trying to teach a bunch of young students something that we would hopefully remember. I have such fond memories of your Mother, my teacher. Memories are a wonderful thing. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
