I want to console and add my great sorrow to that of Uncle Mel's family. A great man, christian, father and grandfather has passed. The Lord, I guess needed and now has a brilliant electrical engineer on staff.
My fondest memories are during the early years of Gloria and my marriage were the weekends we spent with Uncle Mel and Aunt Alice in New Haven. The thing that still springs most forward in mind are the truly christian acts of treating strangers who soon became their loving friends. Their kindness, charity and humbleness will forever live in my mind.
God Bless you Uncle Mel and you too Aunt Alice. And thank you for making me a pretty good golfer with your instructions and a better man by your example.
