Phillip Martin Sells, age 90, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2017 at Parkview Randalia in Fort Wayne. Mr. Sells was born on October 29, 1926 in Princeton, Kentucky to the late Luther M. and Mary Adeline (Patterson) Sells. He graduated from Caldwell County High School and then continued his education at an engineering trade school in Louisville, Kentucky. Phillip served his country honorably with the United States Navy. On January 18, 1947, Phillip married Sarah C. Johnson in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. He worked for Magnavox in Fort Wayne as a foreman for 14 years. Phillip enjoyed telling jokes, working on puzzles, sudokus, and crosswords. He loved golfing, woodworking, and traveling. Phillip loved his family and enjoyed every moment with his grandchildren.
Survivors include:
Daughter, Toni and Stephen Waddell of Louisville, Kentucky.
Daughter, Teresa and Bruce Wass of Woodburn.
10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, his son, Phillip M. Sells Jr. and a great-grandson, Andrew.
Memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 1:00pm, at Park Place Senior Living, 4411 Park Place Drive, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46845
