Robert Michael Shuty

ROBERT MICHAEL SHUTY, age 65, of Kendallville died on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at home.  Mr. Shuty was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on August 10, 1950 to the late Michael Robert Shuty and Katherine Marie (Sabolic) Shuty and has lived in Kendallville for the past ten years.  He honorably served in the United States Navy and he married Diane Jean Blech on November 23, 1974 at the Zion Lutheran Church near Corunna.  He was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan and he loved fishing, playing poker, joking around and laughing. He enjoyed watching professional wrestling and Dog The Bounty Hunter.  Bob was a good person with a heart of gold.  He was loved by his family and will be missed by many.

His wife, Diane Shuty of Kendallville.
Son, Jeff and Cheryl Shuty of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Son, Robert, Jr. "Bobby" and Janet Shuty of Butler, Pennsylvania.
Daughter, Susan Shuty and Mickie of McKeesport, Pennsylvania.
Daughter, Barbara and James Miller of Kendallville.
Son, Adam Shuty of Canton, Ohio.
Granddaughters, Jennifer Wilson and Aaron Schwartz of Wolcottville; Courtney Wilson and Jeff Schull of Kendallville; and Autumn Shuty of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

He was also preceded in death by his grandson, Jerry Wilson, who died October 18, 2013.

Visitation and funeral services will be November 28, 2015 at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville.  Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 pm with the funeral service beginning at 7:00 pm.

Officiating the funeral service will be Pastor Robert Shriner.
