Thelma L. (Parker) Zolman

THELMA L. (PARKER) ZOLMAN, age 92, longtime resident of Churubusco, passed away on Sunday, 
June 7, 2015 at Betz Nursing Home, Auburn, Indiana.  Thelma was born in Allen County, Indiana, the daughter of Ed and Ila (Gwiff) Parker.  She graduated from Churubusco High School in 1941.  She married her high school sweetheart Dale E. Zolman on January 18, 1941 in Churubusco.  He preceded her in death on November 29, 2013.  She was co-owner of the Garrett Country Club along with her husband from 1960 until 1975. She enjoyed traveling and was an avid card player.  

Thelma is survived by:

Two sons, Neal and Lorraine (Bixler) Zolman of Garrett and Everett and Kimberly (Geiger) Zolman of Churubusco. 

Two grandchildren, two step grandchildren, three great grandchildren, three step great grandchildren and three step great-great grandchildren.

Brother, Ed, Jr. and Mary (Herron) Parker of Fort Wayne.  

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Lois Long of Payne, Ohio.

Graveside memorial services will be Saturday, July 11, 2015 at 1:00pm at Merriam Christian Chapel Cemetery.
