LaVon was our hostess during the two visits Jim and I made to Indiana while researching Jansen history. We came as strangers and immediately became loved family members. I feel now that I have lost a sister - but rejoice that she is now with the Lord.

Bless you all - I'm so sorry I wasn't able to make it home for the funeral. I hear it was beautiful. I have been and will continue to be praying and offering Masses for Aunt LaVon and each of you.

Dear Dr. Jim Jansen, Dr. Doug Jansen, Dr. Tom Jansen and Dr. Gerard Jansen and families.

I am very sorry for the loss of your mother. She accomplished many wonderful things during her lifetime and so many of them (including her children & grandchildren) have benefited our community greatly. She will be missed.

"Grandma Jansen", as I knew her, was such a blessing to so many people. She raised a brood of boys into responsible men, loved her grandchildren and played a huge part in their lives, and ultimately gave so much to the community as well. Her legacy will live on through the Jansen family name as EACH member of this family lives out the values she exemplified each day. Grandma Jansen you will be missed!

Just had to write a little to the Jansen Family. Many years ago I worked at Sacred heart Home. I took care of Josephine Jones, and La Von was a steady visitor of Josephine, she looked for to those times. Your Mother was a wonderful human being. Now My Mom is at Sacred Heart. I go see her at noon each day. I saw La Von come in and I thought of her wonderful spirit. What a Great lady. Blessings Cindy
