Louis Franklin Heiman

Louis Franklin Heiman, age 78, of Kendallville, passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at Parkview Noble in Kendallville.  Mr. Heiman was born on January 10, 1938 in Kendallville to the late Henry Heiman and Naomi (Eshelman) Heiman.  Louis graduated from Kendallville High School then continued his education at the University of Purdue in Lafayette.  After he obtained his degree in engineering, he worked as an engineer for a few different companies and then went to work in the industrial park in Kendallville for many years until retirement.  Louis loved to golf and everyone knew him on the golf course.  He belonged to the Moose lodge, Elks lodge and Sons of the American legion.

Son, Scott Heiman of Florida.
Daughter, Kathy Heiman of Evansville.
Son, Douglas and Amy Heiman of Evansville.
Grandson, Justin Miller of Evansville.
Grandson, Dylan Heiman of Evansville.
Grandson, Blake Heiman of Evansville. 
Granddaughter, Paige Heiman of Evansville.
Brother, David Lee and Betty Heiman of Avilla.
Brother, Henry Jr. and Carol Heiman of Avilla.
Brother, Daniel and Georgia Heiman of McClish Lake.
Brother, Richard and Chris Heiman of Garrett.  

A funeral service will take place on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 2:30pm with visitation one hour prior from 1:30pm-2:30pm at Hite Funeral Home, 403 South Main Street, Kendallville.
Burial will take place at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Avilla. 
Officiating the funeral services will be Rev. James Tews.
Memorial donations may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
