Grandma and family~

Damn that Lung! I've both heard and said that lot's. Verlin had an uncanny knack for winning. I'm extremely lucky to have known him and consider him a friend. He had a trait that few have. Smart, well read, honest, caring and generous to a fault. I doubt he ever had an enemy. His advice was always spot on. Thanks Verlin.

Sorry to hear about your loss. Verlin and I spent many Sunday afternoons together trying to catch anything that swam either at his house or mine. Latter years we even explored Yellow Lake together. His mother and my mother were sisters. Sorry to say we lost contact for many years. The last time we talked was at Joe Gerig's. It was good catching up on old times. I will not be able to attend the celebration of life but my prayers are with you at this time.

The love he showed to all who knew him was real, and I was honored to know him and work with him. He will be greatly missed. So many wonderful memories that I relive.
