Ms. Groom was born in Mishawaka, Indiana on May 23, 1958 to the late Dennis and Dorothy (Hollingsworth) Groom. Survivors include her three daughters; Jennifer Groom of Witmer Lake near Wolcottville, Crystal Rice of West Virginia, and Candace Kreiger of Kendallville.
